01Who we are
Wild Enthusiast is a private eco-tourism agency, registered with the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Rajasthan, Jaipur. We are not the Forest Department, a park authority, or any government body, and we don't act on their behalf — we get you into the forest smoothly; running it is entirely theirs to do.
Park closures, timings, and entry rules are decided by the forest department of the relevant reserve, and can change without notice. We'll always pass on what we know as soon as we know it, but the final word on the park itself sits with the authorities who manage it.
02Safari bookings
A few things are worth knowing before your safari is confirmed:
- Your booking is personal to you — it can't be transferred or exchanged to another traveller.
- You'll need to carry the same ID you submitted at the time of booking; the park checks this at entry.
- If government fees change after your booking, or your group's occupancy is incomplete on the day, the difference is payable at the gate.
- Safaris can also be booked directly at the forest department's ticket window on the day, subject to availability — we simply make the process easier and faster.
- Once a safari permit is issued, that booking is final. Our full cancellation terms — including what happens before a permit is issued — are set out on our Reservation & Cancellation Policy page.
03Convenience fee
The price we quote for a safari includes a convenience fee on top of the government ticket price, for securing your slot, handling the paperwork, and coordinating everything so you don't have to. This typically runs ₹1,500–₹10,000 per jeep or e-vehicle booking, depending on the park and season.
We'd encourage you to compare this against the published safari fee before booking — we're always happy to explain what it covers. Once a booking is confirmed, though, we treat the quoted price as settled.
04Payments & cancellations
Reservations are confirmed against an advance, with the balance settled at your stay or on departure. Making a booking with us means you've read and accepted that policy.
05Liability
We plan carefully, but the jungle doesn't run on a fixed script. Once you've boarded a safari, matters like a flat tyre, a guide's conduct, or a drive cut short by park conditions sit outside our direct control, and we're not liable for the inconvenience they cause — though we'll always help however we can from our end.
More broadly, we act as your travel partner in arranging stays, transport, and experiences with trusted operators — not as the underlying service provider for each of them. Where something goes wrong with a third party's service, we'll advocate on your behalf, but the responsibility for that service rests with the provider delivering it.

As our journeys and the way we run them evolve, these terms may be updated to reflect that. Meaningful changes will appear here with a new "last updated" date at the top of the page.
