“The forest taught us patience. We pass that gift on.”
— HEMANT GUPTAFrom Wildlife Passion To Purposeful Travel
In 2009, I went on my first safari in Sariska, hoping to see a tiger. I didn't — but I kept coming back, year after year, because the wild had already claimed a piece of me. Then, on a trip to Ranthambhore with friends in 2014, I saw my first tiger: the legendary Noor. That moment changed everything.
In 2016, a wandering tiger arrived in the forest near my home, and my curiosity deepened. I spent hours with forest guards, learning the land and its stories — and slowly, I saw an opportunity: to build something that let people experience the wild responsibly, while giving back to the communities who call it home.
In 2019, Wild Enthusiast was born: a sustainable, responsible eco-tourism brand. Today, we serve travelers across India with the same passion that started it all.
