Dudhwa National Park is one of India’s most biodiverse forests, located along the India–Nepal border. It is part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, which also includes Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary. Pilibhit Tiger Reserve lies in the foothills of the Himalayas and is known for its dense forests, grasslands, and river-fed ecosystems. It forms a crucial part of the larger tiger corridor that connects Nepal and Uttarakhand. Pilibhit has shown an impressive increase in tiger population over the years and is now considered one of the best emerging tiger reserves in North India. Its vegetation is a mix of sal forests, swamps, tall grasses, and riverine landscapes along the Sharda River.
